Impetus to present Big Data – Analytics Solutions and Strategies at O’Reilly Strata Conference
San Jose, CA, Feb 1st, 2011: Impetus Technologies, an award-winning software product engineering services company that develops innovative software products and technology solutions for ISVs, Large Enterprises and technology businesses, today announced that it will sponsor and exhibit at the Strata Conference 2011 in Santa Clara, CA to be held from February 1st-3rd (Booth# 704).Strata is a new conference from O'Reilly, that will focus on the business and practice of Big data.
Vineet Tyagi, Sr. Director of Engineering at Impetus, will speak in a Strata session on 'Deriving Intelligence from Large Data - Using Hadoop and Applying Analytics' on February 3rd. His talk will highlight the challenges in managing big data; and the available solutions to address these challenges, including Hadoop and Hive to manage and structure data. The session will also cover applying analytics on big data and workable approaches for flexible, end-user-driven ad hoc analysis.
Impetus has a strong focus on large data analytics and high performance computing (HPC). Impetus consultants use their deep experience on a wide range of commercial and open source products in the Big Data space, to help their customers evolve a comprehensive Big Data strategy.
