Impetus introduces next stage of Big Data evolution - Testing: SandStorm enables performance testing and monitoring of Big Data technologies.

The sheer Volume of data (3V’s – Volume, Velocity & Variety) coming into mainstream of business is forcing enterprises to validate and test their Big Data projects.

The latest version of SandStorm brings you a graphical interface to quickly create test scripts for NoSQL DBs like Cassandra and MongoDB and messaging server like Apache Kafka. The scripts can then be used to create realistic scenarios and simulate multiple concurrent users to test the performance of these technologies.
SandStorm 7.0 also supports Big Data monitoring by adding monitors for Oracle NoSQL, MongoDB and ActiveMQ. This enables monitoring of internal statistics of Big Data applications during performance test execution.
