Pulp Fiction Novels and Audio Books: Author Reaches over One Million Copies Sold!
Book publisher Galaxy Press is pleased to announce they have sold over one million copies of New York Times best selling author, L. Ron Hubbard's re-released issues of his classic pulp fiction short novels and multi-cast audio books.Hollywood, CA - January 28, 2011 (PR Solutions) -- Over one million copies of pulp fiction audio books and novels written by L. Ron Hubbard in the science fiction, adventure, western and mystery genres have now been sold, according to sources at Galaxy Press Publishing. Hubbard began writing his stories during the Depression, for the magazines that filled news stands, and immediately established himself as a writer who could master any genre. He was so prolific that he used as many as 15 pen names in addition to his own, to meet the demand for quality pulp fiction stories. These action-packed Golden Age Stories of mystery, suspense and intrigue will take readers back to an era of unbridled entertainment. Compelling stories, brilliant writing and imagination earned Hubbard a reputation as one of the finest writers in the field of pulp fiction.
Hubbard's books have all been re-released with the original artwork, and also as audio books which were recorded multi-cast with full sound effects. Galaxy Press undertook a two year project recording all the stories unabridged with background music, ambiance and a reported 150,000 sound effects. The Golden Age Stories audio books (http://www.goldenagestories.com/audiobooks) combine cinematic audio effects and the voice talents of pre-eminent Hollywood actors such as Charles Durning and Bruce Boxleitner with original music that give the collection the sound of old time radio, but produced using state-of-the-art technology and revolutionizing the popular audio book industry.
