Wide Aware announces summer Wildlife Tours for 2007

Wide Aware have announced wildlife tours to serve for school and college students to experience the Pench and Kanha tiger sanctuaries in the months of April and May 2007.

While the winter is usually considered the best season for such tours, many students are unable to find time off from studies to visit these areas. The summers are hotter, but the vegetation being sparser and sources of water being very limited, the chances of sightings are still very good.

Enthusiasts can hope to spot a variety of animals from the star attraction “tiger” to leopards, jackals and a variety of herbivores and birds. It is a good opportunity for youth to head out into natural surroundings and experience for themselves the natural beauty of the world they live in.
