Congressman Jason Altmire to Lead Ribbon Cutting at Gateway

New Gibsonia Laboratory Celebrates Grand Opening with Community Leaders, Facility Tours and More

PITTSBURGH, January 27, 2011 — Gateway Analytical, an analytical contract laboratory and consulting company, will hold a grand opening celebration on Tues., February 1 at 4156 Kenneth Drive, Gibsonia. The public event kicks off at 10 a.m., with a special appearance and ribbon cutting led by Congressman Jason Altmire, as well as other regional dignitaries and local community leaders.

Gateway Analytical’s grand opening will include a ceremonial ribbon cutting; guided tours of the 3,000-square-foot facility; complimentary refreshments and hors d'oeuvres; and brief remarks from industry experts and community leaders such as Dr. Frederick W. Fochtman, Director of Duquesne University’s Forensic Science and Law Master’s Program (1:00 p.m.); Dr. Todd M. Osman, Executive Director of the Materials Research Society (2:00 p.m.) and Robert Holley, Pharmaceutical/Vaccine Industry Expert (3:00 p.m.).
