A recent survey of brides done by a commercial bridal establishment determined that: 54% of brides reduced their wedding budgets due to the economy. 45% of the brides said that they only planned to spend $10,000 on their weddings. Also notable was the fact that 89% of brides considered having a small wedding to save money.This came to the attention of wedding planner Yusuf Jaafar, and in response to the outcry for the ability to plan multiple and yet lovely small wedding venues, Yusuf created the website http://smallweddingvenues.org/.
