denro ONE RoomController wins 2011 iF Product Award for Excellent Design

denro AG is pleased to announced that the denro ONE RoomController has won the distinguished iF product design award for 2011, chosen by an international jury from a large field of contenders in the "buildings" category. The award once again validates denro AG's strategy comprising ease of use and elegant design that likewise serves to advance market acceptance of building automation technology overall.

The denro One RoomController offers fingertip control of lighting, power, HVAC, climate, shutter and home entertainment systems from a single command panel. This type of centralized control promotes healthful living as well as energy efficient building use, which is precisely why this type of building system control technology is being deployed with greater frequency in offices, hotels as well as in private homes.

The iF product design award is one of the oldest and well-known design competitions. The jury of international experts judged 2,756 entries from 43 countries in order to determine this year’s winner. The denro ONE RoomController persuaded the jury with its clear, functional design comprising its elegant, intuitive touch screen and dial.

The design firm of Ottenwälder und Ottenwälder was responsible for the design of the denro ONE RoomController. "We are very pleased that the denro ONE RoomController won the jury over.
