Oracle Application Express is a rapid web application development tool for the Oracle database, which allows a fast development cycle to be achieved to create web based applications. APEX can be used for departmental-style applications with a dozen users and helps developers to build applications with the latest techniques in AJAX and JavaScript by means of features like Plug-ins and Dynamic Actions.
