Flexible TSN Signal Generation: New Measurement Technology for the Computer on Wheels

Press release from: TSN Systems GmbH
TSN Box 3.0
TSN Box 3.0

Experience the new TSN Tools and TSN Box at the Automotive Ethernet Congress 2019 with many exciting and productive new features.

After an unusually successful first year in the market, the new 3.0 release of the TSN Box has already implemented major enhancements for high-precision TSN signal generation and analysis: additional interfaces such as 1000BASE-T1, audio, sync, PPS and GPIO make it possible to master even complex analysis tasks.

HDBaseT and A2B interfaces
In future EE architectures, domains dissolve more and more, signals of different types share a link. Nevertheless, there is a wide variety of physical interfaces on ECUs, each requiring specific validation. In addition to existing CAN, GPIO and audio interfaces, the TSN Box now also supports the Automotive Audio Bus (A2B) and the HDBaseT Automotive Format. All interfaces use the same high-precision timestamp, which can also be synchronized across several boxes if required.
For complex networked infotainment scenarios, analog audio inputs and outputs as well as output options for time stamping are provided. Together with TSN tools, accurate and efficient testing and analysis of infotainment and ADAS subsystems is possible.

TSN Tools: analysis and visualization of time-critical data
TSN tools also scores points with its user-friendly visualization on the PC. The software allows analysis and visualization of data in real time in terms of timing and several other parameters. Since the initial release, many customer-driven features have been added for typical applications such as predefined analysis templates, inter-packet delay measurements for 802.1Qbv and more. All filters and analysers are now graphically configurable, supporting an efficient workflow in signal generation and analysis.
TSN Systems presents the system in a comprehensive live setup at the Automotive Ethernet Congress at the Westin Grand Hotel in Munich on February 13th and 14th.
