Basic Digital Photography - getting started - one day course

Are there any creative possiblities to achieve an ambitious photography rather than an easygoing “snapping” on the basis of the new digital technique? Have you just bought a new camera and started to take digital pictures? Or would you like to put your technical photographic knowledge on a solid footing?
Camera settings of a bridge or reflex camera will be explained, functions commented that will be useful for your photographic practice as well as a basic theoretical course of photography included.
Thematic priority are the body and handling of digital cameras as well as the following topics :

- lenses – from wide-angle to telephoto
- exposure – automatic, programme, aperture priority, shutter priority
- depth of field – what does it depend on?
- focus – automatic / individual
- white balance – automatic / individual
- filters – which of them are necessary?

Short breaks for practice will round off the programme.

Fee includes:
workshop documents and
soft drinks (water, juice, coffee, tea)

In 1999 the ‘click FotoAkademie’ in Bonn/Germany was founded by Horst Riefers and Karla Hoppe in order to provide intensively the basics of photography - digital and analog - and of image processing.
The following special subjects are offered for a small group (four to six attending):
Digital Photography and Imaging (in German and English), Close-ups in a Botanic Garden, Architecture in a museumand Portrait-, Beauty- and Nude Photography in a studio (in German).
Photographic seminars are also held by Horst Riefers and Karla Hoppe at the VHS Bonn.
