EnTerra Solar Holding Completes Photovoltaic Plants on BEHALA-Roofs
Berlin, Dec. 21st, 2010 EnTerra Solar Holding GmbH completed two photovoltaic plants, with a total output of 268 kWP, on the roofs of the Berlin logistics company BEHALA - Berliner Hafen- und Lagerhausgesellschaft mbH. The plants will produce 253 MWh of clean electricity per year. This will save some 224 tons of carbon dioxide emission. The electricity generated by the plants can supply up to 60 four person households. As such, both companies are making a valuable contribution toward environmental and climate protection.Cutting-edge German technology, coupled with solid Berlin craftsmanship, was implemented: The photovoltaic modules used are “ITS220-modules,” manufactured by InnotechSolar ITS München GmbH. The Berlin based company MBG Mastbau Gärtner GmbH was awarded the contract for the assembly work. With MBG, which looks back on several years experience in the planning and construction of photovoltaic plants, EnTerra Solar Holding GmbH and BEHALA are relying on an experienced specialist in the area of renewable energy.

Further Photovoltaic Projects Planned
With the plant on the BEHALA roofs, EnTerra Solar Holding now operates photovoltaic plants with a total output of 500 kWp in Berlin. The company is planning further photovoltaic projects in the city for 2011, together with its cooperation partners. The medium-term goal of EnTerra Solar Holding is the installation of 3,000 kWp output on Berlin rooftops.
