Idyllic Weather Only Part of Package for iaedp’s Eating

PHOENIX (December 29, 2010) – The International Association of Eating Disorders Professionals Foundation (iaedp), has chosen The Pointe Hilton Squaw Peak Resort in Phoenix, Arizona as the venue for its 24th annual iaedp Symposium on March 3-6, 2011. Set on a mountainside, this Spanish-style resort features 27 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds with downtown Phoenix a mere 10 miles away. Attendants of the conference will choose from an extensive selection of multi-discipline oriented, treatment-focused workshops to match their information and learning needs to the everyday challenges of working with patients. With four prominent keynote speakers, a distinguished Master Training Series and Luncheon Program and excellent networking opportunities with peers, guests can achieve key professional objectives in beautiful Phoenix – where bad weather and frigid temps become a distant memory.
A prominent Hilton resort with 563 rooms, the Pointe Hilton Squaw Peak Resort offers a number of amenities for visitors in between the informative presentations such as a water park, spa and nearby golf course. An extensive, resort-wide $24 million dollar renovation will insure a comfortable stay while guests expand their personal eating disorders treatment knowledge. Over 23 hours of continuing treatment education will take place in the hotel’s meeting space, from the informative presentations to the excellent and exclusive networking opportunities, including the red carpet premiere of Darryl Roberts’ new film America the Beautiful: BMI Sequel. Attendees can also choose to extend their time at the conference by signing up for pre-conference sessions. A workshop faculty of thought leaders will lead presentations and interact with attendees on the state of the field as well as emerging research and treatment trends.
The conference rate for the hotel is for single, double, or triple accommodation in a spacious two room suite. Meals are included in the registration fee.
