Press release from: Kyokutoh Europe GmbH

Kyokutoh Co Ltd., of Nagoya, Japan is pleased to announce further global expansion in its service based business to the global automotive industry with the establishment of Kyokutoh Europe GmbH, Munich, Germany.

Munich was chosen as a central european location to service existing and new customers for its proven range of electrode tip dressing equipment for robot welding production. Serving both Resistance Welding and Arc Welding markets, Kyokutoh's approach is refreshingly simple and straightforward with an extensive range of machines, cutters and holders for its own and competitors machines.

Kyokutoh has been present in Europe since the mid 1990's and has made this investment in parallel with opening of operations in Thailand. Thus continuing the companies strategy of wholly owned operations to serve both end user customers such as VW / Audi Group, Daimler, Honda, Fiat, Renault/Nissan, Suzuki and many other customers using Kyokutoh technology in Europe.

Kyokutoh was established in 1953 in Japan and is still a family owned and operated company. The company started in production of Mig Welding nozzles and over time manufactured many welding components from copper alloy before developing in the 1980's its own range of spot welding tip dressing equipment.

The fundamental design concept has been maintained over the years as a proven application, which has benefited from design update and material improvement based on its strong R & D culture and activity.

Investment in its own robotic laboratory with servo weld gun technology has ensured that the company is able to fully test its equipment before release for customer use.
