VoiceCash enables International Mobile Money Transfer
The mobilcash Prepaid Twin Card will be offered to the existing customer base of mobilcom-debitel initially, but will also be available to any consumers that move funds internationally. “mobilcash is an attractive state-of-the-art product in the area of International Mobile Money Distribution – with a huge competitive edge in terms of price, service and usability. That makes it a perfect match for our existing product portfolio and the next step into mobile money services”, says Antonius Fromme, Head of Customer-management at mobilcom-debitel.
Anyone living in Germany and supporting family or friends abroad can benefit from the mobilcash solution. It is also a very interesting proposition to families or couples where one member frequently travels internationally. With the prepaid twin cards money can easily be assigned from one card to the partner card. The recipients have immediate access to the available balance. The cards can be managed online, via mobile phone SMS commands, or with an innovative and award winning voice authentication system. Since the product is a MasterCard program, customers can pay at more than 30 million points of sale and withdrawal funds at more than 2 million ATMs globally.
