The Leesburg cameras recorded footage of a vehicle matching the descriptions of multiple reported instances of violent attacks in the nearby area that were then linked to serial attacks and murders hundreds of miles away in Michigan. In Washington, local news audiences called in tips to the police after the footage of three dog-napping suspects aired on the evening news and subsequently led to the safe return of a stolen Pit Bull puppy.
