Press release from: ExpertControl GmbH

Munich 13th of December 2010: Engineers in model-based development who are working with MATLAB® / Simulink® have now the possibility to explore the free versions of ExpertControl´s software tools ecDIFF and ecSIM-Viewer.

ecDIFF and ecSIM-Viewer from ExpertControl´s Simulation Data Management product family enable Engineers around the world to automatically find differences between two Simulink®-model versions, view those highlighted differences within ecSIM-Viewer and merge Simulink® blocks into new model versions with ecDIFF´s merge capabilities. Besides the high grade of automation which can be applied to very time consuming workflows in model-based development, the huge benefit is that no Simulink® license is needed to work with ecDIFF and ecSIM-Viewer.

The free versions of ecDIFF and ecSIM-Viewer allow engineers to explore full functionality without tedious registration procedures and time limited test periods. The free versions of ecDIFF and ecSIM-Viewer handle Simulink®-models without Stateflow® elements up to with fifty blocks.

To get a free version of ecDIFF and ecSIM-Viewer, please visit ExpertControl´s webpage:

Free Access to Automatic System Identification with MiC - Modeling in the Cloud
Martinsried / Munich, December 12, 2011: How to identify physical parameters of dynamic systems? System identification methods known from simulation, feedback control design and system theory are applicable to determine physical parameters of dynamic systems. In most cases, these methods do not yield a good precision effort ratio. Easier, faster and more precise is MiC (Modeling in the Cloud), a web application from ExpertControl. MiC allows to identify free of
