Berlin, Germany, 13 December 2010: Coeus Solutions GmbH, a web, social and mobile programming services company based in Berlin, wins 4th price in Lucent-Alcatel OpenAPI Hackathon arranged at Le Web, Paris on 7th and 8th December 2010.
OpenAPIServices Hackathon was arranged by Lucent-Alcatel Corporation and invited participants from all over the world. They were required to create and submit applications that demonstrate a real-world usage of OpenAPIServices. Coeus Solutions GmbH created an application called Retilo News, a real time news application that allows users to aggregate news from over the Internet on a given search term. The news are categorized as stories, comments, images, and videos for ease of read and can also be shared on Facebook or Twitter for easy sharing. Furthermore, the news application platform allows users to view news on map or geo-tag news.
Speaking at the occasion, Ali Naqi Shaheen, CEO of Coeus Solutions GmbH said: "The app demonstrates our ability to create new ideas on tight deadlines and execute those ideas technically and from marketing point of view. This award gives our potential and existing customers, more confidence in our abilities to execute their projects to the best of standards."
The iPhone version of application is expected to be AppStore by 1st January 2010.
