Voices.com Shares Success Story with Google Analytics

Leading digital media company Voices.com is participating this week at the 10th Annual Dreamforce conference in San Francisco. The 30,000 Dreamforce attendees are there to learn about cloud computing with Salesforce and how to better leverage the platform as well as new applications such as Chatter, Salesforce.com’s answer to enterprise-grade collaboration.

Voices.com is not new to Salesforce. In fact, the company has been a Salesforce customer since 2005 and relied on the platform to operate core business functions such as marketing, sales, support and finance.

Company CEO, David Ciccarelli, was a featured speaker at the event on Reporting and Analytics for Marketers. During the session, Ciccarelli shared how they built a custom integration between Google Analytics, Google Adwords and Salesforce that allows Voices.com’s marketing people to monitor and report on:

* Traffic sources that are generating the most business
* Traffic sources by size of the sales opportunities
* Traffic sources that are the most profitable
* Key performance metrics such as return on ad spend
