Weltkino im polnischen Plakat
In der Reihe "Weltkino im polnischen Plakat" diesmal: Italien. Wir zeigen etwa 40 Originalplakate: die meisten aus der Zeit der Volksrepublik Polen. Ähnlich, wie in früheren Editionen des Zyklus, auch bei dieser Ausstellung sind berühmte Namen der Regisseure und Schauspieler, sowie bekannte Filmtitel für uns nicht vorrängig. Wir werden versuchen die Vielfalt der künstlerischen Ausdrucksmitteln, sowie die Vielzahl der Ideen für die grafische Synthese der Filminhalte, die in der Phantasie der Künstlern und nicht in der Software entstanden sind, zu zeigen.

PIGASUS – polish poster gallery existiert seit 2001. Sie ist die einzige Galerie für polnische Plakatkunst in Europa, ausserhalb Polens. Die Galeriesammlung umfasst über 4000 polnische Originalplakate (Film-, Theater-, Opern-, Ausstellungsplakate) aus den letzten 60 Jahren. PIGASUS presentiert ihre Sammlung in zahlreichen Ausstellungen – in eigenen Räumen, aber auch im Auftrag von verschiedenen Kunst- und Kulturinstitutionen.
