PLEASANT HILL—Two Bay Area coaches will lead a workshop for those seeking sustainable and meaningful careers, Creating Meaningful Work after the Recession on Saturday, December 4th from 10:00-5:30 PM at John F. Kennedy University in Pleasant Hill, CA.In developing Google’s School for Personal Growth, career coach Monika Broecker learned that employees long to create meaning with their work and achieve a more sustainable work and lifestyle. "At Google, I had a dream job. I built and led the School of Personal Growth within Google University, its mission, strategy, curricula and programs. This was very inspiring. I now want to bring this mission to the whole world, individuals and companies."
After an innovative career at Google, Broecker launched her own Center for Personal Growth, which is dedicated to facilitating lasting individual, social and global transformation. Additionally, the Center for Personal Growth offers learning programs to organizations to help employees create a more sustainable work and lifestyle.
Tarra Christoff, a career and leadership coach specializes in helping women make their contribution in the world. She is passionate about helping people creating work that makes a difference. “My clients feel a calling to be of service in the world and make a difference, not just a living. Through creating meaningful, sustainable careers they are living their purpose and finding deep fulfillment.”

Tarra Christoff, MA helps individuals, groups and organizations realize their vision for catalyzing change in the world from a place of heart, soul and inspiration. She specializes in helping women awaken their leadership and serve the world. In addition to individual coaching, Tarra leads Women Changing the World coaching groups and leadership development programs. Tarra has taught at organizations such as the Omega Institute, Young Women Social Entrepreneurs, and Spiral Muse. Monika Broecker, MS is the founder of the Center of Personal Growth. Her distinguished career in leadership development and coaching includes building and leading the School of Personal Growth at Google. Monika has spoken across the world at large-scale conferences and has won many awards for her groundbreaking work. She has extensively trained in systemic and somatic psychotherapy and currently works as a Somatic Psychotherapist (MFT Trainee) at the Center for Somatic Psychotherapy in San Francisco. She has published several articles and books, including the most extensive biography of cybernetics pioneer Heinz von Foerster.

Tarra is a leadership/career coach, workshop leader, teleclass facilitator, and organizational consultant who lives in the San Francisco Bay Area and works internationally with women called to make a big contribution in the world.
Tarra is called to support women who are part of the collective awakening happening in throughout the world. She coaches and leads workshops for change-makers, visionaries, social artists, visionary entrepreneurs, and women called to make a positive impact on the world. Tarra graduated magna cum laude with a BA in Psychology and a minor in theater from Binghamton University in New York. She has a masters in psychology from the Wright Institute in Berkeley, CA, a program which emphasizes the social change tradition in psychology. Tarra also is pursuing a doctorate in psychology and working on doctoral dissertation. She completed her training in Co-Active Coaching at the internationally respected Coaches Training Institute in San Rafael, CA. She has completed additional personal and professional development training with Landmark Education, Matrix Leadership Institute, and Interaction Associates.
She is influenced by her studies with some of the most respected leaders of our times, including Thich Nhat Hanh, Jean Houston, Thomas Moore, Desmond Tutu, Lynne Twist, Van Jones, Angeles Arrien, and Julia Butterfly Hill. She is also influenced by her studies in depth psychology, Ecopsychology, theater, and social justice.
