The full-time positions available at Miles Technologies at this time are:

IT Consultant

Ideal candidate will have at least 2 years experience in the following: Ability to diagnose and fix hardware and software issues for both desktops and servers. Experience installing and troubleshooting problems on Win 9x, Win2K, WinXP and WinNT 4.0/Win2K/Win2003 Server, IIS, Exchange, DNS. End-User and Help Desk experience in MS Office Suite, Quickbooks, Act!, pcAnywhere. Experience in troubleshooting LANs and WANs, switches and routers. Strong knowledge of TCP/IP. Certifications such as A+, MCSE, CNE, CCNA are a plus but not required.

Software Engineer
Ideal candidate will have at least 2 years experience in the following: Designing, developing, and implementing both back-end database structures and front-end application user interfaces and application logic. Experience with MS Access, SQL, VB, ASP, ASP.NET, HTML, JavaScript. Experience developing complete applications from beginning to end. Needs an understanding of business flow and procedures and the ability to translate these into functional and efficient software solutions. Flexibility and resourcefulness in design & development are a plus. Certifications such as MCSD are a plus but not required.

Assistant Project Manager
Ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in either Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting or other major related to business or information technology. Ability to assess a business' needs and translate that into a system design that automates processes and creates efficiencies for the business. Ability to thoroughly test software to ensure that it fully meets the business requirements set forth in a scope of work. Ability to comprehend accounting principals and the effect business transactions have on a general ledger. Ability to work directly with customers to ensure successful implementation of custom developed software packages. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Experience with network troubleshooting, database structures (Access, MS SQL, Oracle) and web-based applications (ASP, ASP.NET, Java) is a plus, but not required.
