The Pets Place is an all animal blog site for pet and animal lovers. It grew out of a desire to celebrate the unconditional love and fun that animals bring into people’s lives.
The philosophy of the Pets Place is - Beauty, Education, Truth and Harmony or BETH for short. By educating ourselves and living authentically, we can live in harmony with planet earth, our neighbours and our animals, thus experiencing the beauty of the world in which we all live.
At The Pets Place there are informative articles about caring for pets and animals. The latest news items about the fascinating psychological research that is being conducted in the area of human/animal relationships are featured and articles about animals that work in therapy roles with children and adults. Cute photos of pets can be uploaded and shared and readers can follow Dr Findlay, the Italian Spinone’s diary, about his life in the Yorkshire countryside and his keen, incisive and often amusing observations about the world around him.
Animal lovers can give free reign to their imagination by writing stories about their pets and sharing them with others on The Pets Place. Visitors to The Pets Place will be transported to another time and place, experiencing the challenges, the successes and the funny moments of animals and their human companions as they navigate through life.

‘Wishes Really Do Come True,’ an ebook about the heart warming story of Thomas, a highly sensitive young boy who lives in a single parent family can be downloaded for free. Readers will discover how Thomas’ wish comes true and how ‘Wobbles’, a little puppy brings joy to Thomas and his mother who share a loving and nurturing relationship.

Walking the Dog, a striking abstract oil on linen painting by internationally acclaimed artist Scott Moore can be viewed and the story of it’s creation found on The Pets Place.

Photographic equipment, such as digital Cannon cameras, just perfect for taking stunning pictures of pets and wildlife can be purchased and ethical beauty products from the Body Shop which has been recognised by PETA (People for Ethical Treatment of Animals) as a company that does not test their products or the ingredients on animals.

Gummy Lump’s extensive range of children’s educational toys can be bought too, including the popular Melissa and Doug toys, the Wild Republic Cuddlekins toys and toys for the education of children with special needs.

All animal lovers are welcome at The Pets Place.

The Pets Place is a blog site all about animals, our pets, working animals, farm animals and wildlife. The Pets Place originated from a tiny seed that was planted when on my first birthday, I was given the most gorgeous golden retriever puppy called Grouse. I spent my early childhood playing with Grouse. He would walk to school with me in the morning and be there when I finished school in the afternoon. Grouse and I were inseparable. I have been fortunate to have had many other pets, each with their own unique personality, at various times in my life.
Animals are wonderful companions and loyal friends. Many today work in therapy roles helping both children and adults to heal. Others find their purpose through working or in sport. Animals bring fun and activity into people’s lives. They give love unconditionally.
Through sharing “stories,” at The Pets Place, animals are celebrated. There are posts about how to choose and care for your pets and information about what to do when issues arise.
At The Pets Place, we are against any form of animal cruelty.
We believe in respecting our planet and taking care of our environment, the home of many endangered animals.
We believe that we are part of a diverse, global community and we respect the rights and dignity of all members of that community.
The philosophy of The Pets Place is – Beauty, Education, Truth and Harmony or BETH for short. By living authentically, searching for the truth and educating ourselves, we are able to live in harmony with the planet, our neighbours and our animals and thus experience the beauty of the world around us.
Read the blogs and follow Dr Findlay, the Italian Spinone, by reading his diary. Discover the wonderful work that the many animal charities linked to The Pets Place do. Find out how therapy animals help children with special needs and the elderly lead more fulfilling lives. Download the free children’s e-book – “Wishes Really Do Come True,” the story of a young, highly sensitive boy who makes a wish. Find out how his wish comes true.
Join me at The Pets Place or e-mail me at angela@thepetsplace.info with a story about your pet or perhaps someone else’s pet that you would love to share. Why not upload and share your favourite pet photos?
So come and join me at The Pets Place.
Until next time.
