Regal Palms Resort & Spa Management Kicks Off Holiday Food Drive

DAVENPORT, FL—Regal Palms Resort & Spa Management, a company managing townhomes at Regal Palms Resort & Spa near Orlando Florida, began its first annual Holiday Food Drive yesterday to benefit Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida.

Owners, guests and members of the general public may participate by donating food items and making contributions with cash or by credit card directly at the resort’s front desk. Everyone has the opportunity to donate at the company’s Website (www.rprsmanagement.combillpay.php) or on the Regal Palms Resort & Spa Facebook page.

For every five pounds of food or $5.00 donated, the individual making the donation will receive a raffle ticket for a chance to win a netbook computer. The drawing will be held on November 24.

“We are very happy to have this opportunity to help a very worthy cause,” said Peter Sewall, chief executive officer for Regal Palms Resort & Spa Management. “In addition to the main drive, we have a separate one running in tandem, for our employees and affiliates. It is our hope that overall we will collect hundreds of pounds of food and significant dollars for Second Harvest.”

Regal Palms Resort & Spa features a combination of fully equipped and furnished three-bedroom and four-bedroom town homes and three-, four- and five-bedroom vacation homes. The resort’s amenities include a restaurant, day spa, and a tropical swimming pavilion with large swimming pool, waterslide, lazy river, and children’s pool.

Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida is a private, nonprofit organization that collects and distributes donated food to more than 600 nonprofit partner agencies in six Central Florida counties: Brevard, Lake, Orange, Osceola, Seminole and Volusia.
