FRIMA's hi tech VCC is demonstrated at Hospitality 2011

Hospitality 2011, NEC Birmingham, Jan 24 - 26

The compact versatility and energy efficiency of FRIMA’s groundbreaking VarioCooking Center will be demonstrated at Hospitality 2011 on stand 550. Visitors will be able to watch the futuristic VCC111 in action and see how, despite a footprint of less than one square metre, it offers all the functions of bratt, kettle and titling pans, a fryer, griddle and pressure cooker.

The demonstrations will also highlight the VCC’s speed: being up to 50% faster than conventional cooking equipment has a huge impact on the efficiency of the kitchen.

"These days almost every kitchen has space and budget restrictions - that's why multi-function equipment is so popular," says Ben Gourgues, head of UK marketing at FRIMA.

"It's realistic to expect savings of up to 40% in energy use from the VarioCooking Center, compared to cooking with standard equipment," he adds. “But the savings don’t stop there: it not only costs less to buy one VarioCooking Center than the several pieces of traditional equipment it replaces, it also costs less to run, maintain and clean.”

Expert personnel will be on hand to discuss all aspects of the VarioCooking Center and to arrange free demonstrations at venues around the UK.

The VarioCooking Center® from FRIMA is a brand new generation of cooking systems that will change the way chefs operate in the kitchen.

It makes many conventional cooking systems obsolete. It’s a multi-purpose cooking tool combining a tilting pan, a kettle and a deep-fat fryer, making a compact three-way system with a sophisticated and easy to use computerised control and monitoring system.

It not only cooks up to 50% faster than conventional appliances, but also delivers great savings – up to 40% lower energy and water consumption, less food shrinkage and lower fat consumption – leading to higher profitability on food sales.
