Find a great company to work with at Pitching for Management

AngelNews, the leading online news service for the early stage investment market is bringing its successful Pitching for Management™ series of events to Manchester on 30th November.

Pitching for Management™ in association with Intramezzo is a unique concept, which allows growing businesses to fill talent gaps and senior executives to find new challenges. Companies pitch to an audience of senior executives to join their teams in salaried, sweat equity and commission-based roles. There are no success fees and candidates contact the businesses directly.

Alan Edwards, a serial entrepreneur with over 35 years experience in the healthcare industry, will be speaking at the event.

Jullian Preston-Powers of ThermaHelm pitched at a recent London event and said:
“Many thanks from Team ThermaHelm to the team at AngelNews for the results of our recent management call at the Pitching for Management™ event. Following the event we were inundated with requests from 17 individuals, which resulted in the appointment of a Managing Director, Chief Operations Officer and Marketing Director. We could not have done it without your help!"

Audience members offer a range of skills from sales, marketing and finance directors to mentors, non-executive directors and CEOs.

Modwenna Rees-Mogg, CEO of AngelNews explained:
“We’ve been running Pitching for Management™ on a bi-monthly basis in London since January 2009. It really helps companies to recruit high quality talent and enables senior executives out of work to find their next career challenge.

“The feedback we receive is truly inspiring; people love the concept, it’s innovative and meets a real need.

“We thought that other cities could benefit from this model. Since we announced the roll-out in September, we have had lots of enquiries. Manchester was an obvious choice to host the events; it’s clearly the centre of business activity in the North and is one of the fastest-growing cities economically.”

Previous attendee, Jonathan Reeves commented: “These events are excellent. I have only missed one event in London and have valued all I have attended.”
Pitching for Management™ in Manchester will take place on 30th November at Brown Shipley Private Bank from 6.00pm.
