Recent Event at MITSOT
The Chief Guest of the function was Mr. Anil Nair, Joint Managing Director and President, AGC Networks Ltd and Special Guest of Honour, Dr. D.P.Kothari, Advisor to chancellor and Former Vice chancellor, Vellor Institute of Technology University, Vellor. Function was presided over by Prof. Dr. V.D.Karad, Founder and Director General, MAEER’s MIT Pune
Various personalities and dignitaries present on the occasion were the corporates and the board of study members of MITSOT, from Siemens Enterprise Communication Pvt.ltd, Tech Mahindra, Accenture, Airtel, TATA Motors, TATA Communications Ltd., CISCO, Avaya, Ericsson along with the students receiving the degrees and their parents/ guardians among other guests grace the occasion
Students were awarded their degrees and some special Awards of Merits such as Best All Rounder Award, Academic Excellence Award, Best Project Award, Best Placement Award, Late Gagan Singh Chauhan Award for Discipline were presented to the students.
The event concluded with networking dinner.
MITSOT was formally inaugurated on 1st August 2007 and academic activities started on the same day .
MITSOT is an AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education) approved institution. Its program has been designed for both the experienced telecommunication technical professional and the fresher with relatively little experience in the telecom industry.
