The Travis Home, located near Snowbird and the Alta Ski Resort, is now accepting reservations for the 2010/2011 ski season. The Travis Home is a luxury condo located in Little Cottonwood Canyon and is a well-known vacation spot for many fans of skiing. Both the Snowbird Ski Area and the Alta Ski Resort are within walking distance, as well as many facilities to make your stay a pleasant experience. Reservations can be made by calling 801-942-5219.
Alta, Utah – November 1, 2010 – The Travis Home is currently accepting reservations for the 2010/2011 ski season. The Travis Home is a well-known condo located in Little Cottonwood Canyon, home to the Snowbird and Alta Ski Resort. These resorts were named the number one ski resort in North America in 2008 by Outside Magazine.
This luxury condo features two levels of living space, including three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living and dining room with a wood burning fireplace, a modern kitchen, and a laundry room. The home comes equipped with everything needed for your stay, including cooking utensils, fresh linens, and cleaning supplies. A grocery buying service is available before arrival for an additional cost. Other amenities include high speed wireless internet, a fax machine, and satellite television. Facilities are available nearby to make your stay even more pleasant, with access to restaurants and shopping, spas, and medical clinics. A free shuttle to the Alta ski area is available, as well as a Bus Service to the Snowbird ski area.
The Alta Ski Resort opens November 19, and closes April 24, giving avid ski fans ample time to schedule a vacation for their family and friends. Lifts are available 9:15 A.M. - 4:30 P.M. The base elevation is 8,530 feet, with a top elevation of 10,550 feet. Over 116 runs are available, and over 2,200 acres of skiiable area for their guests. Ski classes and private lessons are available from certified and experienced instructors.
