Evok Wins Four HBA 2010 Major Achievement Awards
With over 15 judges from around the country, representing California, Minnesota, North Carolina, South Carolina and Texas, The Home Builders Association of Metro Orlando (HBA) honored evok advertising with awards for “Best Social Media Program”, “Best Mixed Media” campaign and overall “Best Promotion (Non-REALTOR®).” The Central Florida ad agency was also distinguished with the “Major Advertising and Promotions Award.”
Evok Advertising won The “Best Social Media Program” award for their own social media engagement strategy and their ability to create new business through the growing medium, specifically receiving recognition for “Ad Candy,” their free iPhone application aimed at assisting small businesses measure their own advertising return on investment, and for their Twitter page (username: evoklarry), the second most followed ad agency Twitter page in the United States.
Florida Public Utilities (FPU), an agency client for eight years, was present at the carnival-themed gala to see the evok team acknowledged for their work on the FPU “Flip the Switch” advertising campaign, which won the “Best Promotion (Non-REALTOR®)” award.
