Fremont, CA. iwNetworks will exhibit their new 10GbE 48 port Top of Rack Switch and 10 GbE LAN on Motherboard 1U Server at the Cloud Computing Expo Show Nov. 1-4 at the Santa Clara Convention Center.The Pronto 3780 series 10GbE switch is a wire speed layer 2/3 open switch with 48 non- blocking SFP+ ports. The switch integrates Xorplus operating system and provides a total solution for the networking needs of Data Centers, Enterprise/SMB, and HPC applications. Xorplus embraces the open source model which allows users to customize and bring innovation to their network infrastructure without the limitation of traditional embedded switches.
The SMLS-S10 series server features 10GbE LAN on Motherboard architecture supporting the latest Intel Quad-Core Xeon 5600/5500 series processors in a 1U footprint. The SMLS-S10 has 8 2.5 inch hot swappable SAS/SATA storage bays for customizable storage and Gold level redundant power supplies for top level efficiencies that help reduce operational costs. The LAN on Motherboard architecture allows the user to simplify their equipment inventory needs at a system cost far below a typical server plus 10GbE NIC card.
