iwNetworks announces its 100G SDN Series switch

Network traffic is growing exponentially. The 100G is key for meeting the increasing bandwidth demand on provider networks like HD video, video surveillance and mobile usage tax network capacity. iwNetworks’ 100GbE switches offers lower cost per gigabit while improving application responsiveness, performance, and availability across the network.
The SDN-A77100-32X is a 32-Port 100G QSFP28 switch preconfigured with an ONIE software installer. It is coupled with the Broadcom Tomahawk 3.2Tbps and Intel CPU. Contact iwNetworks for compatible network operating systems (NOS) options. The 1U package includes dual 110-230VAC 650W PSUs, redundant cooling, and is available with either power-to-port or power-to-port airflow.
The SDN-A77100-32X is a Top-of-Rack switch. Connect 10 or 25 GbE to servers with 40 or 50 or 100 GbE uplinks. Use as a spine switch supporting 40, 50, or 100 GbE ToR and spine interconnects. Each of the 32 QSFP28 switch ports supports 1 x 100 GbE or 1 x 40 GbE. Via breakout cables configure as 2 x 50 GbE, 4 x 25 GbE, or 4 x 10 GbE. iwNetworks’ switches support a range of network operating systems including Open Network Linux, ONOS, Cumulus®, and others.
