Vatican Museums Open During New Extended Night Hours

Lovers of art and history will have more time to enjoy the Vatican Museums with extended night hours. During the special event, every Friday from September 3rd to October 29th, the museums will be accept visitors from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm with the last admission at 9:30 pm.

A ticket grants admission to the Vatican Museums as well as the Sistine Chapel. It is highly recommended to make reservations online to avoid waiting in line.

The Vatican Museums display the immense collection of artifacts accumulated over the centuries by the Roman Catholic Church. The collection was started over 500 years ago and includes spiritually themed art and sculpture from around the world. Exhibitions currently being displayed include “October Nights: Encounter Between People, Art, and Culture” and “Rituals of Life: When Aboriginal Art in Part of Daily Life”.
