The “Certified for Windows Server 2008 R2" designation highlights software solutions meeting Microsoft compatibility standards and complying with recommended practices for the Windows Server 2008 R2 operating system. Solutions earning the Certified for Windows Server 2008 R2 designation also incorporate state-of-the art virtualization technologies, and have been rigorously tested by third party vendors. Microsoft periodically reviews Certified for Windows Server 2008 R2 solutions to ensure standards compliance.
