PARIS, LONDON, DUBAI, MOSCOW – Due to rapid expansion and increased demand from vendors and channel partners, DISTREE Events is pleased to announce that DISTREE IT Channel Forum (DITCF) – the leading event for manufacturers, distributors, resellers and retailers operating in the Russia & CIS region – is relocating to St. Petersburg for its 2011 event.

DITCF 2011 will take place from 22-24th June at the Radisson Pribaltiyskaya Hotel in St. Petersburg. With delegates attending from across the Russia & CIS region, the 1,200 room hotel and modern world-class conference facilities will offer the perfect platform for high-level channel networking and business development during the three-day event. The move to a new venue offers significant benefits for DITCF delegates in 2011 including:

All delegates can stay in the same hotel
World-class conference facilities
Increased exhibition space
Luxury breakout rooms
Private meeting rooms

“Delegates will also have the opportunity to enjoy St. Petersburg’s pleasant summer climate and cultural attractions,” explained Frederic Simard, President & Co-founder at DISTREE Events, the organisers behind DITCF. “The historic centre of St. Petersburg is also a UNESCO World Heritage Centre.”

“St. Petersburg is also a major international travel hub with a highly developed transport infrastructure and easy access from across the Russia & CIS region – including high speed train links from Moscow,” he added.

DITCF 2011 will also take place during the celebrated White Nights in St. Petersburg - an annual international arts festival during the season of the midnight sun.

“We have been running channel events in the Russia & CIS region for close to a decade now,” added Simard. “During this time we have focused on Moscow and – after listening to feedback from delegates – felt that the time was right to change the location and increase our capacity so that vendors, distributors, resellers and retailers could all reside in one hotel.”

Delegates from the business channel attending DITCF include corporate resellers, systems integrators, solutions providers, VARs and ISVs from across the Russia & CIS region. The consumer channel delegates consist of retailers, e-tailers, mass merchants and independent outlets.

DITCF features world class speakers offering insight into market conditions across the Russia & CIS region in addition to workshops, forums and awards programmes. Delegates also participate in pre-scheduled one-on-one meetings and can take advantage of multiple networking opportunities.

“DITCF has become ‘the’ strategic event for vendors looking to manage, review, build or even launch channels in the Russia & CIS region,” explained Simard. “Bringing together hundreds of channel companies in one place for one event provides an incredible opportunity for vendors to achieve a great deal in a relatively short space of time.”

Save the date for next year and reserve your place at DISTREE IT Channel Forum 2011 in St. Petersburg – the ‘must attend’ event for vendors, distributors, resellers and retailers operating in the Russia & CIS region.
