Press release from: EON Systems, Inc.

EON Systems, Inc.’s CEO, Derek Greenwood, returns from a successful speaking engagement at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA on Saturday October 9th. The presentation included the contents of EON’s latest public service webinar “How to Evaluate Software in the New EHR World”. This webinar, attended by scores of practitioners around the country includes important information about EHR/EMR and documentation. The CEO’s presentation was tailor made for students, trying to help them better prepare themselves for when they open their own practices.

The Professional Opportunities Coordinator at Palmer College, Marsha Hardarce, was impressed by Mr. Greenwood’s ability to relate to the students. “He always has an ‘everyman’ example to bring home his point,” Ms. Hardacre commented.

Greenwood received glowing reviews from the students of Chiropractic. One attendee said, “It was presented in an entertaining way. It covered important questions I wouldn’t have thought of. [He] answered questions intelligently and gave logical reasons for what to do. He knows business well.” When asked what he liked most about this presentation, another student said “How he was very knowledgeable of the subject matter and all other systems. [He gave a] list of things to look for, because, as students, we don't really know.”

The public service webinar on “How to Evaluate Software in the New EHR World” is available on various days and times to accommodate busy schedules. A schedule and registration links are available at www.eonsystems.net or call Alexandra at 800-955-6448.

The public service webinar instructs participants in how to choose software the right way, how not to choose software, seven very costly mistakes in choosing software and 10 important things a practitioner should know about software. This webinar also gives you updates on the EHR initiative, how it works and how it affects your practice. The payment schedule, payment reductions and what is required in Stage 1 are covered in detail, giving the basics on what it all means.
