Recursion Announces Universal Mobile UI, Process Layer and Services Generator In Closed Beta

As the mobile application market expands into M2M and emerging devices, developers need tools that expedite and abstract fragmented native API code so that they can focus on building great apps instead of debugging. For example, the Voyager Universal UI API provides an abstraction to the various "web engines", namely WebKit APIs for Android, Blackberry, iPhone and Symbian since each platform provides its own unique classes and APIs, further fragmenting the standard. Support for the Windows 7 web engine is achieved through abstraction to Silverlight v4.0 platform. The Voyager Universal UI API module provides bidirectional communication between the native application and Javascript/Web Engine and automatically generates the initial implementation of your application in both Java and C#. Combined with the ability to access the UI API remotely through the Universal Services capability, one device can update the Presentation Layer/UI of another device or group of devices facilitating "follow-me" synchronization between the devices you own or collaboration within a group.
The Voyager beta also provides a lightweight universal application framework through the Voyager Universal Process Layer API to facilitate building native applications consisting of a universal Web Engine-based Presentation Layer, Business Process Layer & Messaging Layer. It provides well-defined classes and methods to allow you to add your Business Process Logic and Messaging Logic.
