Insurance Choice Parachute Jump only a few weeks away

Insurance Choice, the non-standard insurance specialist, is just a few weeks away from their charity parachute jump in aid of Autism. The jump will raise funds to support autistic children and their families via The National Autistic Society. The jump is particularly poignant for Insurance Choice as several staff have children with Autism.

At this time of year, the kids are going back to and/ or starting school for the first time. It's an exciting and anxious time for parents of all children, but when your child has autism there are lots of additional worries to contend with.

Autistic children are unique individuals who bring an incredible amount of joy to the people in their lives. However, there are so many aspects of childhood that simply cannot be taken for granted with an autistic child. Although there is a requirement for additional support, access to the right help and resources mean they can go on to fulfil their potential and enjoy life.

As well as changes to the normal routine, the experience of meeting new people and being in a new place every day can be unbelievably stressful for autistic children and their families when school starts. A time in their lives that should be packed with memories can be seriously upsetting for autistic children. However, there are a great range of things that can be done to provide autistic children with a healthy and productive environment to get the best out of life. These things do of course cost money, and require resources that are not always readily available. Insurance Choice hope that the parachute jump will allow them to help make a considerable contribution to these efforts for children and families dealing with autism.

The Insurance Choice parachute jump will take place on October 17th at Nottingham Airfield, with several members of the non standard insurance team taking part. A target of at least £6715 has been set for the jump with £5905 raised so far.
