Autism Podcast released for Autism Sunday
AUTISM PODCAST RELEASED by Midnight in ChicagoFOR AUTISM SUNDAY on February 8, 2009
Peterborough, ON: Thomas D. Taylor and Peterborough based MIDNIGHT IN CHICAGO have released their most recent free audio podcast on Autism entitled “Why Is There Autism: A Christian Perspective” to coincide with Autism Sunday on February 8.
“As a Christian, it’s important for me to help others better understand what the Bible says about differences such as Autism,” says Chicago area resident and Co-Creator of the MIC initiative, Thomas D. Taylor. “For those who feel that God has abandoned individuals and families dealing with Autism Spectrum Disorders, this podcast gives them reason to see the reality of the situation more clearly.”
His Holiness Pope Benedict XVI has invoked God's blessings of strength and peace on the Autism Community on Autism Sunday in a message from the Vatican as has the Right Reverend Richard Chartres, the Bishop of London in the United Kingdom.
People have been asked to use Autism Sunday as a platform to lobby and campaign on the serious health and education issues connected with Autism Spectrum Disorders.
This podcast – as is the case with all podcasts from MIC – are available for download free of charge at http://www.mic.mypodcast.com as well as at iTunes and at all major download portals carrying MIC podcasts.
Over 500 health and autism organizations around the world as well as experts such as Dr. Tony Attwood in the field of Autism Spectrum Disorders have linked to the MIC Audio Podcasts on Autism Spectrum Disorders.
MIDNIGHT IN CHICAGO was created and founded by Peterborough resident and Arts Industry professional, Elyse Bruce, in the summer of 2006. Along with Thomas D. Taylor, Ms. Bruce creates fundraisers in the U.S. and Canada such as the annual “Midnight In Chicago Art Competition” and “Art From The Heart” as well as the Audio Podcasts that are free to download.
