Outpouring of Community Interest in the North Carolina Green Business Summit Forces Organizers to Reschedule to Bigger Venue

Raleigh Mayor Charles Meeker To Deliver Welcoming Remarks
At Summit Now Scheduled for March 2011

[Raleigh, North Carolina] - The Inaugural North Carolina Green Business Summit will be held in March of 2011 in order for the organizers to accommodate the overwhelming interest in the event. Presented by United for a Sustainable America, the event will feature welcoming remarks by Raleigh Mayor Charles Meeker.

Free and open to the public the summit will focus on the importance of proactively investing in the emerging green economy, and facilitate dialogue on how sustainability can grow Florida’s economy and create jobs.

“It is imperative that our communities begin to better understand and embrace green business practices,” said Brig. General David “Tanker” Snyder, United for a Sustainable America board Chairman and managing director of Aerosage. “Ultimately, these strategies and tactics will yield more successful, sustaining organizations and economies.”

The Inaugural North Carolina Green Business Summit invites members of the business community who are seeking to learn about the opportunities of integrating sustainability into their businesses and managing the accompanying challenges in the wake of the sustainable business revolution.
