“PEOPLE IN MOTION” is a collection of photographic works from around the world, taken by photographers who met whilst “in motion”, their paths crossed at different moments and points on their journeys. The richness of their experience is a source of energy and inspiration expressed through the lens of a camera.
Three women and three men for whom photography has become much more than just a hobby, and travel a compelling necessity... “PEOPLE IN MOTION” will take you on a fascinating photographic journey through shots stolen secretly or awaited with meticulous patience, of unknown faces and faces so familiar, perspectives of infinite landscapes or of unique details that only the consummate traveller perceives. Images at times ephemeral, at times so concrete you can almost touch, feel and smell the scenes. This project was born out of the desire to express intimate emotions and a profound notion of travel and time, with the authors’ lenses and hearts frequently aimed at images of childhood.
All the funds raised will be donated in their entirety to two NGOs dedicated to helping children in need, Via Niños and Don Orione. Photographs are available on line for pre-ordering at www.vianinos.org
