Eye4Software B.V. Released GPS Mapping Software version 3.0
The purpose of the software is to display your current position on digital maps or CAD/GIS data in real time. You can record all movements to a file for later analysis or for instance, to keep track of the covered survey area.
The software can be used with both CAD/GIS data formats, as well as image files (scanned maps). More then 3500 map projections are currently supported, allowing you to use the software at almost any place on the globe.
The software is currently in use by research vessels, home users, hydrographic surveyors, land surveyors and more.
The minimum requirement to use this software is a desktop, notebook or netbook running Windows XP or higher. To use the software for realtime navigation, also a NMEA0183 capable GPS receiver is required.
