NC Bed Bug Seminar to Address Growing Incidence of Infestations
The intensive half-day educational seminar will feature talks by bed bug experts including NC State’s Dr. Michael Waldvogel. Everyone interested in learning about bed bugs is invited to join, from property managers and public health officials to university educators and hospitality industry personnel.
Dr. Michael Waldvogel is an Extension Associate Professor of Entomology at NCSU and Director of the NCSU Structural Pest Management Training and Research Facility. Dr. Walvogel will be delivering a talk entitled “Bed Bugs: The Next Pandemic.”
Also speaking will be Jeremiah Smith, the owner of Logos K-9, a company that trains dogs to detect the scent of bed bugs, and Donnie Shelton, CEO of Triangle Pest Control.
