New Site, tipsoftheweekonline.com, Offers Free Tech Help and Advice
Tipsoftheweekonline.com is a new website offering free help, support, and advice on consumer technology issues. Visitors are encouraged to ask questions about problems and will receive assistance free of charge.Tips of the Week Online started in 2002 as an e-mail newsletter. Its original audience of about thirty readers quickly grew to hundreds. After four years of circulation, a sizable knowledge base was created, and the author decided to take the content online so the entire world could benefit.
"I have a lot of content that I sent out in the newsletter that lots of readers kept asking about," said Tips of the Week Online author Norm Kaiser. "So I thought, I have all this stuff, why not put it on the Internet for the world to read?"
The site's author's current plan is to release several articles containing tips, tricks, and problem fixes each week. "I'm posting past articles and writing new stuff, too."
