Quest CE Offers Minnesota Insurance CE Early Bird Special

Quest CE is proud to offer a special discount to Minnesota students whose license will expire at the end of October. Producers that have not already completed their continuing education, only have 90 days to fulfill their Minnesota CE requirements. Quest CE offers non-company sponsored courses, therefore all self-study continuing education courses may be taken online. Minnesota insurance producers need 24 hours of continuing education during each licensing period. Additionally, three (3) of those hours must be in a class or classes in the area of ethics.

The Minnesota Department of Commerce now requires that all online continuing education courses record the actual time the student spends in the course. Access to the final exam will not be allowed until the student’s time equals the number of approved credit hours for the course. The course must also be stopped if the student has been inactive for more than 10 minutes.

It is highly encouraged for producers not to wait until the last minute to complete their continuing education. The license renewal date will change from October 31 to the last day of the producer’s birth month. As part of the transition plan, all active Minnesota individual licenses with a current expiration date of 10/31/2010 will still renew on 10/31/2010; similarly, licenses with an expiration date of 10/31/2011 will still renew on 10/31/2011.
