Telstream Telecoms warns of individuals posing as employees in Uganda
It has come to the attention of Telstream Telecoms that certain individuals in Uganda are posing as employees of Telstream Telecoms, fraudulently using fake Telstream Telecoms "employee cards".As Telstream Telecoms operates with the upmost integrity, it wishes to advise businesses and individuals in Uganda to exercise caution when dealing with these individuals, and look to report them to the authorities.
"These individuals are not, and have never been, employed by, or affiliated with, Telstream Telecoms", said a spokesperson for the company, "we do not at present have any employees, representatives or offices within Uganda and advise businesses and individuals to contact us directly to confirm the credentials of anyone purporting to represent Telstream Telecoms."
The employee cards in question have been put together using images and information available on the Telstream Telecoms website.
Telstream Telecoms offers broadband satellite solutions aimed at providing satellite internet, voice and data services to businesses throughout Africa.
We are able to offer solutions providing point-to-point connectivity, VPN and flexible redundancy offerings, from mobile satellite connections to satellite internet connectivity in remote locations.
