Telstream Telecoms announces successful multinational satellite project implementation

Telstream Telecoms announced the successful implementation of a point-to-point satellite solution for a leading African financial institution allowing for the reliable transfer on information.

The solution allows for branches throughout Zimbabwe, Botswana and Malawi to connect directly to head office via satellite. The brief required the implementation of a "single-hop" point-to-point satellite solution allowing for latency sensitive applications to operate effectively over the links. Telstream Telecoms achieved this through the use of iDirect technology and bandwidth provided by a leading European provider.
