Bowtie Engineering Appoints New Electrical Engineer
Electrical Engineering/Managed Services company to Strengthens Resources

ATLANTA, GA. – November 16, 2018 - Bowtie Engineering, (Bowtie) an electrical engineering/managed services consulting firm, announced today that the Atlanta-based company welcomed aboard Corey Brown to further the engineering process of national accounts. Corey Brown, an EIT sitting for PE in April, brings a breadth of systems engineering knowledge from his industry time along with a medium voltage background.

Bowtie works nationally with clients on electrical power studies, electrical maintenance, electrical safety programs and electrical risk mitigation. “As part of our electrical system studies, the data supports, PPE and maintenance tools our clients need to meet industry safety requirements,” said John Welch, Bowtie Engineering CEO. “Now with more resources in the organization, we can continuously improve our brands in all areas of the US, Canada and Abroad.”

Corey will implement the 6-sigma tools and core process’s inside Bowtie’s back office with our customers which standardizes and continuously reduces risk to electricians nationally while improving reliability. Corey’s comments “I can appreciate the vision of Bowtie Engineering and look forward to contributing to this industry segment for reasons of health and safety.” “Together, the Bowtie Engineers will show the market the quality of output that customers should demand, as prescribed in the 2018 NFPA 70E & and 2016 NFPA 70B” says Corey.

John Welch, CEO, said “Corey’s experience and classroom interpersonal knowledge has already made him a good fit for Bowtie Engineering. We appreciate his engineering commitment to reduce risk nationally with electrical hazards and continuously improving electrical safety.”

Among the Engineering/Managed Services, Bowtie also has PPE products available which are arc rated flash suites, shock rated rubber gloves, fan and light hoods, insulated tools, arc rated hooded jackets, jackets and bibs, coveralls, and long fire-resistant coats. “Having the correct PPE and tools is obviously important, but also critical today because OSHA is increasing fines for companies that experience electrical accidents, increasing fines year after year,” said Welch.
