Roundstamp modico® R45 wins red dot design award 2010
Fürstenfeldbruck, 31st of March 2010. The Design Zentrum Nordrhein Westfalen awards the modico® R45 with the red dot design award for design quality and "international superior product design" in 2010. The modico® R45 convinced the jury with its ergonomically designed mount, which is characterised by flowing lines. With its matted "soft-feel"-coating the stamp literally huddles against the palm of the hand and presents a completely new stamp sensation. The red dot design award is one of the internationally most famous awards for superior product design and will be assigned officially in Essen on the 5th of july 2010.http://www.modico.com/products/consumers/modico-stamps/modico-m-series/details/catalog/modico-r45-1/
According to CEO Christian Grimm, the award confirms the company‘s philosophy of modico®: „Our customers demand not only technically innovative products, but also an innovative design - acknowledged as a perfect symbiosis of shape and function.“ The modico® R45 combines an excellent design with an innovative stamp-system: Unlike with common systems, the personalisation takes place by exposure of a microporous stamp plate. This process allows to make stamps with a solution of up to 600 dpi. In addition to fonts of the size of down to 4,5pt and neat full tones, even photos can be reproduced. The ink pad is integrated in the mount - the stamp imprint is brought onto the paper by a light push in an unimagined precise way. The premium stamping-ink is dry in no time, does not smudge and is certified as indelible.
In addition to the awarded R45, modico®‘s product range includes 46 stamps in six series, office stamps, pen- and date-stamps, as well as stamps for special surfaces such as glass and metal. The high durability with up to 20 000 imprints per ink-pad and an emission free personalisation of the text plate turn modico® stamps into an ecologically-friendly aid in the office life.
modico® is one of the leading producers of stamps on the basis of the flash-technology and world market leader for flash-exposure units for the stamp production. Europe-wide designers, engineers, psychologists and economic experts are working on developing the world‘s best stamping-system. The headquarter is located in Fürstenfeldbruck near Munich.
