Alliance Global Services Successfully Completes ISO 27001:2005 Surveillance Audit for Information Security Management

Alliance Global Services, a premier global software solutions firm, today announced that it has successfully completed the ISO 27001:2005 surveillance audit from Det Norske Verias (DNV), an accredited third-party registrar of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). According to the ISO, the standard “is designed to ensure the selection of adequate and proportionate security controls that protect information assets.” The certification covers Alliance’s site in Hyderabad, India.

ISO 27001:2005 is an Information Security Management System (ISMS) standard published by the ISO that identifies, manages and minimizes a range of threats to business information. Considered the international gold standard in information security, ISO 27001:2005 provides guidelines for a risk assessment and management process and ensures a secure infrastructure is established. In addition to this certification, Alliance Global Services has been ISO 9001:2008 certified for eight consecutive years and is a CMM Level 5 accessed company.
