Press release from: YesStyle.com Ltd

Hong Kong female entrepreneur Priscilla Chu Lai-king was recently presented with the "China Top 100 Women Entrepreneurs Award" in recognition of her outstanding efforts and achievements in the development of e-shopping, which reflect her remarkable corporate, IT management, and leadership skills. In 1998, Ms. Chu co-founded YesAsia.com, the largest online Asian entertainment products retailer. More recently, she expanded her business interests by launching YesStyle.com, a new shopping portal for Asian fashion and lifestyle products.

Organized by the China Association of Women Entrepreneurs, the "China Top 100 Women Entrepreneurs Awards" honors female entrepreneurs in the Greater China region who have made remarkable entrepreneurial achievements and major contributions to the field of business. The 100 recipients are also selected on the basis of the growth of their enterprises and other awards or honors they have received from the business community.

Ms. Chu has overseen the information technology, logistical and customer service aspects of YesAsia.com since its launch in 1998. During these eight years, she has worked hard to establish an efficient online shopping platform that provides hassle-free 24-hour shopping and customer services to its worldwide customers. Ms. Chu also led the company's successful responses to numerous crises, including the burst of the dotcom bubble in 2000 and the SARS outbreak in 2003. Through adept leadership and keen vision, Ms. Chu has built YesAsia.com into the world's No. 1 shopping portal for Asian entertainment products.

Based in Hong Kong with regional offices in Japan and South Korea, YesAsia.com has continued to develop rapidly in recent years. The company first started out selling Chinese CDs to overseas customers. Today, it has carved a niche for itself as the leading online source for a wide range of Asian entertainment products, including music, videos, anime, games, books, electronics, toys, and collectibles. It has a global base of over 700,000 customers in some 200 countries, and over 2,500,000 people visit the site every month. In 2005, YesAsia.com was named one of the top 500 online retailers in the U.S. by the authoritative Internet Retailer magazine.

In her latest initiative, Ms. Chu has further expanded the company's business by launching YesStyle.com, an online fashion portal offering a diverse array of stylish, high-quality, and innovative apparel, jewelry, accessories, and beauty products from Asian designer brands.

Ms. Chu commented: "I am honored to receive a 'China Top 100 Women Entrepreneurs Award'. It is encouraging to see that the achievements of women are now gradually gaining greater recognition around the world. I will continue to do my best to lead YesAsia.com towards even greater success in the future. I also want to encourage aspiring female entrepreneurs to realize their dreams of becoming successful and independent business leaders."

With "Initiative, Innovation, and Creation" as its theme, the "China Top 100 Women Entrepreneurs Awards" Ceremony was held at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing in October 2006. Over 200 women entrepreneurs and guests from Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, and Mainland China attended. The guests of honor included Ms. Gu Xiulian, Vice-President of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress and President of the All-China Women's Federation; Ms. Zhao Di, President of the China Association of Women Entrepreneurs; Ms. Zhen Yan, a Member of the Secretariat of the All-China Women's Federation; and Ms. Huang Lin, Vice-President (General Affairs) of the China Association of Women Entrepreneurs. Among this year's other Award recipients were Ms. Daisy Ho, Deputy Managing Director of Shun Tak Holdings Limited; Mrs. Chu Ho Miu Hing, Convenor of the Compensation Committee of The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited; Ms. Leonie Ki, Managing Director of New World China Enterprises Project Ltd.; and Mrs. Eleanor Kwok, Vice-Chairman of Sa Sa International Holdings Limited.

Apart from the Awards Ceremony, the China Association of Women Entrepreneurs also specially published a souvenir book about the Award recipients in order to encourage the exchange of ideas and cooperation amongst female entrepreneurs in Greater China. The book contains detailed profiles of the entrepreneurs and their business experiences, as well as their tips for creating a successful business.
