Unitrin, OIT, ibml, TAWPI Lead Panel Discussion at IASA

Optical Image Technology’s (OIT) Jim Thumma will join representatives from Unitrin Direct® Auto and Home Insurance, ibml, and The Association for Work Process Improvement (TAWPI) for a panel presentation entitled Improving ROI by Thinking Outside the Box: Unconventional Uses for a Conventional ECM System at IASA 2010. The session takes place on Tuesday, June 8 at 9:15 a.m. during the June 6-9 conference in Grapevine, Texas.

The panelists will examine the way organizations leverage enterprise content management (ECM) technology and discuss why the typical approach leads many implementations to fall short of their potential. Their recommendations are designed to help insurers reevaluate their existing systems and achieve superior process improvement. The benefits of optimized document scanning, data capture, workflow, and process integration will also be discussed.

Jerel Titus of Unitrin Direct, a 2010 Celent Model Insurer Award winner; Mark Brousseau of The Association for Work Process Improvement (TAWPI); and Jim Bunn of ibml will join Mr. Thumma to comprise the panel. The session will offer best practices, with panelists sharing "lessons learned" from their collective experience about how to improve the return on investment for ECM technology. Attendees also will have the opportunity to share the ECM pitfalls they have encountered and pose their toughest challenges to the panelists for consideration.
